We cherish every dollar donated to support families who experience the loss of a child. 100% of every dollar raised goes to support Dignity Health Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center's infant bereavement support programs offered to East Valley families.
Here are some examples of how the funds that have been donated have been used to support families during their healing journey:
- An Evening of Remembrance Service: Held annually on October 15th
- Support Group: Meeting on the third Monday of each month
- Community Events: Quarterly gatherings such as walks in the park, restaurant meetups, book exchanges, and more.
- Cuddle Cots: Cradles placed at the bedside to allow parents precious time with their baby
- Resource Guides: Provided to staff for sharing with families
- Wendy White Boxes: Keepsake items given to families following a miscarriage
- Laney's Legacy Memory Boxes: Keepsake items for families who lost a baby at any age of gestation
- Bereavement Library: Located outside Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers, offering books to help with grieving.
- Bears to Cuddle: Hand-made bears given to families, crafted by volunteers
- Mother's Day and Father's Day Cards: Created by bereaved parents to other bereaved parents
- Staff Training on infant loss
