Angelo John "AJ", our Twinja A, unexpectedly gained his angel wings due to natural causes at exactly 1 month old on August 24th, 2019. A year later, we found Heaven's Hummingbirds, a bereavement group that supports those in our community who have endured the unimaginable loss of an infant. The journey after losing a child is often a lonely one, but this group has made us feel not so alone by providing us with a memory box for AJ, an opportunity for our family to participate in their Wave of Light ceremony every year as well as help other families just starting their journey, and an ear or comforting hug to let us know they understand our grief.
