We cherish every dollar donated to support families who experience the loss of a child. 100% of every dollar raised goes to support Dignity Health Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center's infant bereavement support programs offered to East Valley families. Here are some examples of how the funds that have been donated have been used to support families during their healing journey:
- Evening of Remembrance Service - held annually on October 15th
- Support Group - held on the third Monday of each month
- Community Events - quarterly gatherings (walk in the park, restaurant meetups, book exchanges and more)
- Cuddle Cots - Cradles to place baby in at bedside allowing parents precious time
- Resource Guides for staff to share with families
- Wendy White Boxes - keepsake items given to families following a miscarriage
- Laney's Legacy Memory Boxes - keepsake items given to families who lost a baby at any age of gestation.
- Bereavement Library - located outside Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers with books to help with the grieving process.
- Bears to cuddle - supplies are purchased and volunteers hand-make bears that are given to families to cuddle
- Mother's Day and Father's Day cards made by bereaved parents to other bereaved parents
- Staff training on infant loss
