Logan's Legacy

Hi, I’m McKennah, and I’m running this 5K in memory of my son, Logan Mark, who was born still on July 5, 2021, at 21 weeks and 5 days.

My pregnancy with Logan was anything but simple. Early on, a subchorionic hemorrhage set off a cascading condition called CAOS — chronic abruption-oligohydramnios sequence — which wore a hole in the amniotic sac at just 15 weeks. For over six weeks, Logan survived without amniotic fluid. He fought hard, and so did I. His birthday and his loss are both carried with me every single day.

Logan is my firstborn. I now have my daughter Sage, born in 2022, but he will always be first.
I’m running this 5K to raise funds for Dignity Health Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center’s infant bereavement programs. These programs do something vital: they help bridge the gap from hospital to home, so that families leaving without their baby don’t have to navigate that grief alone. They provide comfort, guidance, and compassionate care during one of the most isolating experiences a person can face.
I know firsthand how much that support matters.
Every dollar you give goes toward making sure another family feels seen, held, and not forgotten in their hardest moments. Please consider donating, and please share this page — it truly takes a community.

Together, we run for the ones who couldn’t stay. 🤍

Thank you for honoring Logan’s Legacy with me.
